MLO partners Abdiwahid and Isse Ahmed Warsame

Mogadishu Law Office or MLO was first established in 2000 and began operating in Somalia in 2004, in the midst of the civil war crisis. Offering services in Somali, English, Italian, and Arabic, MLO services clients both within Somalia, and all over the world. Our firm is licensed to practice throughout Somalia three-tier judicial system (Supreme, Regional, and District Courts) as well other customary and administrative legal tribunals.

Two decades of civil war and statelessness have resulted in dramatic changes in Somalia’s political, social, and economic environment. Lawyers and professionals at MLO are well attuned to their clients’ business and legal needs, and use their in-depth understanding of the local Somali context and extensive network to help clients achieve their goals. Our clients benefit from more than two decades of legal expertise in coordinating complex transactions and grounded experience to guide clients through any challenge.
